The Altfinstermünz Adventure Castle is a truly special destination in the Tyrolean Oberland. This historic border and customs post is located in the impressive Finstermünz Gorge along the Inn River and transports visitors back to the late Middle Ages. There’s plenty to explore, including the old fortress, the Klausenturm tower with its wooden bridge over the Inn River, a natural cave with fascinating information about the former customs and transportation systems, and the rock path leading to Sigmundseck.
