Experience an extraordinary theatre event at an authentic original location this summer! In cooperation with the Kauns, Ladis and Grins theatres, the Ried im Oberinntal Theatre Association presents the open-air play ‘1945 - Resistance Alpine Fortress’ - a gripping drama in three acts, written and directed by Michael Schmid.
In the midst of the dramatic final months of the war in 1945, Vitus, a forester who has returned home, fights against the Nazi regime - and for the protection of his homeland. With courage, humanity and determined resistance, he and a small group of men and women take a stand against the impending destruction of their region.
